One holistic pipefitting task where the Apprentice must work to the tolerances and specifications stated in an engineering drawing to fabricate, assemble, install, test, and then dismantle a piping assembly.
Observed and managed by an independent assessor.

During the test the assessor can question the apprentice to ascertain the breadth
and depth of their underpinning knowledge.

Assessed during a structured professional review.
90-minute duration.

Observation, knowledge test and professional review must all be passed to achieve EPA.
Minimum of 60% required in observation, knowledge, and professional review to achieve a pass grade.

Merit (70% plus minimum of 2 merits)
Distinction (85% plus minimum of 2 merits and 1 distinction)
Results released following internal quality assurance.
Certification applied for from the ESFA and forwarded to the employer.
